DOWNEND FOOD & DRINK FESTIVAL FOR 2024!!
Downend Cricket Club are pleased to announce that this year we will be putting on a food festival!! Including several incredible food vendors from the Bristol area as well as Live music, Street Art & a DJ Set.
The aim is to celebrate everything about Downend & the local community & finish the cricket season with a real bang! With an Autumnal theme, there will be a range of refreshments on offer & even an opportunity to create your own pieces of street art!
Tickets are just £10 for adults, and kids go free!
The festival will start around 11am and will run until 11pm.
The vendors & acts:
Fontmell Smokehouse: Producing some of the best slow-cooked, smoked and pulled delicacies. BBQ food that will be hard to resist!
Pitaria: Hand-made Greek and Mediterranean food. With delicious with handmade breads and dips. Choose between chicken, halloumi or red lentil fritters. Some serious mouth watering greek street food.
Chiki Monkey: A Bristol based vegan caterer. Serving up a Middle Eastern inspired street food menu and Vegan sub sandwiches.
Mr Nick’s Ice Cream & Desserts: Serving delicious ice cream trays including hot desserts consisting of Belgian chocolate fudge, gooey triple chocolate brownies as well as waffles. You can even create your own trays upon request!
Bristol & Bath Rum Distillery: The home of Dead Man’s Fingers! With a distillery, a bar and it own spirit school. There will be amazing cocktails and a huge array of flavoured rums to choose from.
Greene King: The main marque will feature the Greene King bar. With fantastic ciders, pale ales and lagers, there will be a drink to suit everyone.
Music & Bands: We have some very talented musicians lined up for the day, as well as a great DJ to keep the music pumping throughout the day. And a special headline from Tom Corneill.
Bristol Street Art: There will be live demos throughout the day from well-known Bristol street artists. There will even be a chance to create your own art and take it home with you.
